Bill Keever, CEO of Discovery Hydrovac, is a proven leader with a diverse background in military service, executive leadership, and competitive sports. A former Olympic athlete and combat veteran, Bill built a career leading high-performing teams in oil & gas, heavy equipment, and technology sectors before taking the helm at Discovery Hydrovac.

Passionate about safety, efficiency, and excellence, Bill drives the company’s mission to protect America’s underground utility infrastructure while delivering best-in-class hydro excavation services. Chelsie Newberry, Chief of Staff at Discovery Hydrovac, is a dynamic leader dedicated to operational efficiency, organizational accountability, and employee development. She began her career with Discovery Hydrovac but left to gain experience, climbing the corporate ladder before returning as a seasoned executive.

With a strong background in executive management, Chelsie optimizes operations and leads teams to foster a results-driven culture. Known for clear communication and strategic leadership, she ensures teams meet company goals while maintaining high standards. Her leadership blends empathy, clear expectations, and a drive for excellence, fostering both individual growth and company-wide success.

Juan Mena, Director of Operations at Discovery Hydrovac, is a results-driven leader with deep expertise in underground utilities, fleet management, and operational efficiency. With over a decade in oil & gas before transitioning to hydrovac operations, Juan brings a unique blend of technical knowledge and leadership.

Since joining Discovery Hydrovac in 2016 as an Area Manager, he has expanded the company’s footprint, strengthened safety protocols, and optimized fleet operations. Now as Director of Operations, he oversees project execution and workforce optimization. His hands-on leadership drives innovation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, reinforcing Discovery Hydrovac’s reputation as an industry leader.

Perry Payne, Business Development Manager at Discovery Hydrovac, is a seasoned sales leader known for integrity, strong relationships, and consistent results. He excels at closing deals, building brand identity, and creating tailored solutions that meet customer needs and budgets. 

A skilled communicator and networker, Perry effectively manages large territories while enhancing public awareness and promoting safety. Cody Thomas, Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Manager at Discovery Hydrovac, began his journey with the company in 2018 as a laborer. Through dedication, hard work, and a natural ability to connect with people, Cody advanced to Field Service Manager and then SUE Manager.

Before Discovery, he served the Cities of Lodi and Galt, California, gaining valuable public sector experience that informs his approach to underground utility protection.

Cody is known for his leadership, operational insight, and commitment to safety and service. He takes pride in representing a company that puts people first while raising the bar for professionalism in the hydrovac industry.

Kacee Wyatt, Executive Assistant at Discovery Hydrovac, has supported operations across various industries. She has worked in diverse environments, ranging from education to tourism to manufacturing. Kacee focuses on keeping processes organized and running smoothly, ensuring efficiency behind the scenes. She enjoys problem-solving, improving workflows, and providing reliable support to help teams function effectively.
